True to her signature style, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada unveiled a collection bursting with surrealist charm, color, and whimsy. For this season, she teamed up with Carlos Marán as artistic director, who collaborated with Javier Carrera Acosta, head of the atelier.

Together, they pushed the boundaries of what they call “Agathism,” a term they use to describe their unique blend of surrealism, vibrant colors, and whimsical designs. They filled the runway with fantastical characters and outlandish scenarios: gardeners, clowns, tennis players, and glamorous divas on their way to trysts with beings from other planets. The show was a vivid reminder that Ágatha’s creative universe knows no limits.

Embark on a journey through a myriad of fabrics: the warm cloths, the daring lamés, the essential taffetas, the magical brocades, and the innovative organzas. These fabrics, a fusion of earthly passion and experimental design, will surely pique your interest and leave you excited about the most experimental phase of Ágatha’s career.

"Agathism" at its Best

Her pieces were a riot of shapes and textures, with transparent organza fabrics, colorful ribbons cascading from garments, and layers of poplin, sequins, and glitter, creating a dazzling, playful aesthetic. Geometric shapes, oversized polka dots, and exaggerated Victorian-striped collars added a theatrical flair and humor to the collection, ensuring that each look embodied a bold vision for the coming season, where color blocking and audacious design will undoubtedly dominate the summer.

Ágatha Opens Madrid Fashion Week

Once again, Madrid transforms into the epicenter of fashion with the arrival of  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWMadrid), celebrating its 80th edition by unveiling the Spring/Summer 2025 collections. The Spanish capital is in full bloom as the doors of Ifema’s Pavilion 14.1 open to a packed schedule of runway shows and events, which will set the tone of the season’s trends until September 16. Running parallel to the main event, initiatives such as Madrid es Moda and various off-site shows across the city further enrich this grand fashion spectacle.
