Habey Club is a Spanish fashion brand created by designers David Salvador and Javier Zunzunegu. The Illusion of Transformation
Their newest collection, ‘Side Effects’, presented on the final day of 080 Barcelona Fashion Week, was inspired by a Norwegian movie called “Sick of Myself.” In this collection, they play with different materials and designs. For example, they incorporate feathers under puffy jackets and add piercings to clothes to give them a unique look. “Side effects is a clear example of how we focus on pleasing, on fitting in, on blurring our boundaries and drawing new ones, all with the aim of transforming ourselves and projecting something new, something remote from our true selves.”
