On April 22, join us at Fashion Evolved Nature Reflected, a sustainable fashion-forward exhibit. The Upcycle Project, Earth Day Miami and the Miami International Mall are proud to present this exciting exhibit. All in all, it will showcase upcycled towels created by the talented graduates and students of the Miami Fashion Institute.
Let’s celebrate Earth Day meaningfully by taking advantage of a fantastic opportunity to support local talent. Also, gain insights into the various ways you can help preserve and protect our planet. This is an excellent occasion to connect with your community while also fostering a greater appreciation for the environment. We all need to take action to reduce our impact on it. Upcycle Project
Upcycle Project is a multidisciplinary platform focused on creative circular solutions to transform textile waste into valuable raw materials to build a more resourceful world. Its goal is to educate, inspire, and help companies find creative ways to reduce waste by applying creativity, circularity, and innovation to achieve their sustainability goals. Through partnerships, exhibitions, fashion shows, workshops, competitions, and events, our registered nonprofit organization raises awareness, making audiences experience sustainability in an exciting and fashion-forward context.
Miami Fashion Institute
An industry-driven program that prepares students to work as creative professionals in the fashion industry. From concept to production, students learn the process, skills, and language of fashion design and technology, combining business and creative skills to develop an individual portfolio that expresses a solid understanding of the fashion industry. Courses are led by renowned faculty members who bring decades of real-world experience into the classroom. MFI’s instructors are artists, designers, and business professionals who have worked with some of the most notable names in fashion, including Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Mara Hoffman, Marc Jacobs, and Zac Posen.
Miami International Mall
Miami International Mall is a premiere family-friendly international shopping experience located in Doral. It provides a gathering place for consumers to shop, dine, and be entertained in a safe, comfortable environment. The mall is home to select retailers like Macy’s The Women’s and Kid’s Store, Macy’s Men’s and Home, JCPenney, and, coming soon, Elev8 Fun. Also, she attempts to open an honest dialogue around the controversial and hypocritical matters that torment groups or nations, discussing facts rather than mere ideologies or idiocracies. Ava is also an avid ice cream connoisseur.
