Azamat Somatov’s SS26 collection completely captivated me. Most of the collection focuses on menswear, and a few womenswear pieces ended up fitting naturally and felt just as elegant. From start to finish, every look seemed effortless. The models wore each outfit with ease, and every piece had a clear purpose. Small details like hats, sunglasses, and delicate necklaces added personality while keeping the focus on the clothing’s clean, simple lines. These accessories felt thoughtful rather than distracting. They also highlighted the designer’s attention to small touches that make an outfit feel complete.
Tailoring is the heart of this collection. For example, wide trousers, structured blazers, and oversized coats fit beautifully and moved naturally. This shows the care put into each piece. Furthermore, subtle patterns and small surprises give a modern touch without feeling forced. The colors are simple and timeless, which allows the quality and design to stand out even more. The choice of fabrics seemed carefully considered. Some pieces appeared soft and relaxed, while others were strong and structured. Yet, all of them worked together in a cohesive way.
What impressed me most is how the collection celebrates quiet elegance. This is clear in the way a coat drapes, a blazer moves, or a piece simply fits the body. Every part, from the cut to the fabric to the finish, works together to create a style that is modern and effortlessly classy.
I usually have a single favorite look from a collection. However, this time I could not choose. Every piece felt intentional, thoughtful, and full of life. Watching the show left me inspired, and it reminded me that style does not need to be loud to make an impact. In fact, true sophistication often comes from balance, precision, and attention to detail. Azamat Somatov’s SS26 collection reminds us that style can be simple, thoughtful, and quietly unforgettable.
