SEV presented its latest A/W 2026/27 collection at the stunning Galería de Cristal del Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. The venue provided a striking backdrop and set a calm, beautiful atmosphere for the opening day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

The Bilbao-born label, founded by Saioa Goitia as a modern take on the bridal house Sophie et Voilà, delivered a stunning collection that combined style and simplicity and set the stage for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

Modern Simplicity meets Bridal Heritage

As the models walked down the runway in deep red coats with wide sleeves, the mood immediately set in. The latest collection of SEV featured off-shoulder dresses in muted green and gentle grey, which moved gracefully with each step. Tailored ivory suits with thin belts appeared next. Additionally, long, straight white dresses reflected SEV’s bridal roots with quiet elegance. Small details like pearl buttons and light lace edges added charm without taking away the simple style.

The models wore sheer white gowns with delicate veils, honoring the brand’s roots.

As the runway show continued, the colors grew richer. Long burgundy velvet dresses appeared alongside sleek black wrap coats and wide pants with fitted jackets. My personal favorite was the white wedding dress with the headpiece. The piece’s details were truly stunning.

The finale featured floor-length gowns in shiny gold and bronze fabrics. They caught the light of the Galería’s glass ceiling, closing the show with sparkle and calm. As the runway show ended, the audience erupted into applause, showing their love for the designer.
The collection was classy and refined. It was a great opening to an exciting week ahead, leaving everyone inspired, eager, and ready to see what Saioa Goitia creates next.
