Spanish brand Pedro del Hierro presented “The Great Metropolis” for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid inside one of the most emblematic buildings in the Spanish capital: the majestic Palacio Cibeles.
Pedro del Hierro’s latest proposal, ‘The Great Metropolis’, revolved around city nightlife as a reminder that the loudest beats of our hearts happen after dark.

Pedro del Hierro’s elongated silhouettes were an ode to relaxed chic and a modern night life. Gentle degrade prints in warm oranges, burgundy and reds, suggested a welcoming dawn. The magic of the city lights became a leading character of the show through metallics present in hardware, accessories and fabrics that were part of both womenswear and menswear looks.
Nightlife reimagined at Palacio de Cibeles
The women’s collection celebrated city sophistication and enigma: play on see-through fabrics, smooth lines and asymmetric shapes were the ingredients that defined the silhouette of a strong, seductive night power.

City nights in silhouettes and shine
On the menswear side, everything was speaking louder: confident and unapologetic, with a relaxed tailoring that reinterpreted summer outerwear. Tuxedos reworked with sequins and shine were a nod to the sensual womenswear line. A message of relaxed luxury, a determined and elegant masculinity, presented itself ready to light up the main avenues of the Great Metropolis.

There wasn’t a single detail in the collection that was an afterthought. Each material, stitch and accessory completed strong looks that told a cohesive story, one that connected to its runway setting. Inside this emblematic building, the show became an immersive dialogue between architecture and fashion, between timelessness and the vertigo of nightlife. A modern collection, yes, but eternal at the same time, and it reminded us of something we sometimes forget: our boldest adventures and our most memorable celebrations take place after the sun goes down.
