With more than a decade of experience in women’s fashion design and a presence not only within the Ukrainian scene but also in Europe, Daria Chuprina and her eponymous brand present a collection that speaks subtly and elegantly about the traditional keys of femininity and elegance.
Using carefully selected fabrics and construction techniques that aim for a balance between sophistication and modernity, the collection captures the eye from the very first moment, especially when what we see is an ode to tweed, a fabric that, whether by tradition or by sensation, has always conveyed elegance and femininity at its highest.
To integrate this fabric with such history into everyday wear and contemporary fashion, the designer plays with color, texture, and the softness of the silhouette. The source of inspiration for all of this was the glow and light of the morning, which, as we all know, has the enduring power to provide an unmatched feeling of peace, comfort, and anticipation of a new beginning. The beauty of the moment when a day is just born, and the hope of being able to do something better and beautiful with this new time.
The collection mainly consists of dresses, jackets, trousers, and jumpsuits with fringe, all featuring particular accents and delicate finishes. Textured knitwear, such as jumpsuits, cardigans, and dresses, adds depth and tactility to the collection, while nautical-style collars bring lightness and a sense of freedom of movement.
Several sporty looks also appeared on the runway. They serve as a contrast to the classic aesthetic of the collection, emphasizing the idea that without modernity, there is no elegance, and, of course, highlighting comfort as a central element.
The color palette gracefully combines milky shades with matcha tones and accents of delicate pink. “The collection tells the story of a woman who lives in the rhythm of the new times, without denying the tenderness, sophistication, and depth of traditions.”
Lucía holds a master’s degree in communication management, specializing in fashion and luxury marketing. With a profound appreciation for art, fashion, and history, she has discovered her vocation in fashion journalism. Currently, she dedicates her efforts to this field in her early twenties, residing in the dynamic city of Madrid.
