Timeless & Eclectic

My mom used to say that the faster we feel time passing by, the older we are. Well, I must be over 100 years then, because I’ve been planning for this edition since November last year, and in the blink of an eye, it’s already the end of February!

This long magazine process overlapped with the end of the year, a time when I start my self-therapy, reviewing what I’ve been doing with my life – it always makes me cringe at all the stupid things I’ve said and done.

Ultimately, I get to the point where I need to put all of that aside and set aside my unrealistic resolutions. During my assessment, and considering I’m already too old, I thought to myself: “What if there’s not much time left for me in this life?”

I’ve decided to attempt an edition that would be as timeless as possible. And we had the honor to interview Alfonso Pérez, Creative Director at Angel Schlesser, whose collection impressed all of us during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid with its creativity, provocative storytelling, and courage to push artistic boundaries in a day full of commercial brands.

The only thing I would strongly disagree with Alfonso: that he doesn’t understand anything. The eclectic tailor does it really well, much beyond what many can see. Alfonso, let’s make this timeless.
