Adolfo Domínguez’s latest runway, Zenit, was just showcased during the first day of Madrid Fashion Week inside the beautiful crystal gallery of the iconic Palacio Cibeles. This collection is an ode to reflection and self-awareness. It explored our own capacity for growth in a play between controlled structures and innovative deconstruction. The brand pays a beautifully crafted homage to its inspiration, the duality and contrast between the zenith and the nadir, or in other words, the dialogue and movement that takes place between two poles.
Zenit tells a story that goes beyond the garments; it echoes the journey of the brand itself. The collection is about reaching the summit in two ways, by stripping away and by adding on, and the brand’s return to Madrid Fashion Week after almost fifteen years follows that same rhythm. On one hand, it sheds years of absence from Spain’s fashion calendar; on the other, it brings with it new experience and international growth. Back inside the Palacio Cibeles, the house feels resonant yet grounded, proving that progress often comes from both what we let go and what we choose to keep.
